Youth Art Night In-Person
Today we're exploring pastels! Children will learn about artists like Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, and others who used pastels to create portraits. Then we'll explore the different ways to use pastels and experiment with them to create pastel portraits of book characters.
Due to the nature of this activity - you must be on time to participate.
For safety - no one under 6 will be allowed in the room. Older siblings welcome as space allows.
Children who need assistance, guidance, or supervision should bring their grownup.
Art Nights begin with learning about an artist, their style, and their work.
We'll then use them as inspiration to create our own works of art to take home.
This is a free class. All supplies are provided, books related to that days project will be available for check out.
Space and supplies may be limited.
