Youth Book Club In-Person
This month we're discussing Horror! Choose any spooky or scary book to read and chat about.
(Nothing *TOO* scary please. Your librarian is a softy)
Bookworms Book Club is for children ages 6-11, parents and older siblings are welcome as space allows.
In this book club, we open the session by learning about a literary genre and then discuss the books we've read that month from that genre. To keep hands busy - we will have themed bookmarks children can color while we chat. These can be taken home or added to the bookmark caddy in the youth department for others to enjoy. The conversation will be guided and children will be encouraged to share their thoughts and opinions. A selection of books to read for the next meeting will be available for check out.
